  7.     When the new record book comes out in January, Ben Johnson,
  8. who lost his 1988 Olympic gold medal for using anabolic
  9. steroids, will not be listed as the world's fastest human. Last
  10. week authorities stripped the Canadian runner of his record
  11. times in three earlier events after he admitted using the drug
  12. since 1981. He is, however, still a contender. Johnson, says his
  13. attorney Edward Futerman, wants to "run again and win clean."
  14. For now, his 100-meter-dash crown goes to Carl Lewis.
